Uncle Jam (ジャムおじいさん) is the creator of Anpanman, Melonpanna and Rollpanna. He is a kind fairy baker who lives in a bakery deep in the forest. When any of the bread trio gets weak, he revatalises them. It is he who bakes Anpanman's replacement heads, along with Butterko.
