Kokin-chan (コキンちゃん) is a character from Sore Ike! Anpanman. She is Dokin-chan's younger sister who can fake her tears to make people cry. Simillar to Horrorman, she isn't evil and sometimes helps Anpanman and the others, unlike her older sister. Before the creation of her UFO Blue Tears, she would come to Anpanman World in her transportable egg.

Kokinchan is Dokinchan's little sister. She's a specialist at fake crying, and has the ability to make people cry. When one gets in contact with Kokinchan's blue tears, they won't stop crying. She sometimes fights with Dokinchan for Shokupanman.
Description

Kokin-chan does what she wants when she wants to do it. Although quite bossy and doesn't listens to what anyone else says or their feelings, she still wants to help if their friends are in trouble. She Is Throwing A Temper Tantrum. She Is sometimes has a bad relationship and a bit jealous with her big sister, Dokinchan. She's A Naughty Brat. She Is Looking A Like The Female Version Of Doraemon
Powers/Abilities
- Fake Tears: Kokinchan's fake tears have the power to make anyone who comes into contact with them cry for no reason. This usually immobilizes them that way to distract them to do anything else.
Appearances
Kokin-chan and the Blue Tears
Kokin-chan first appeared in the 2006 animated short Kokin-chan and the Blue Tears. She has since become a high-profile character in the series.
Due to her originally being a movie character and later part of the anime, she has two different backstories. In the 2006 movie short, Coreen arrives on Earth as an egg much like Baikinmn and Dokeen did, and causes trouble for both heroes and villains due to her tears making everyone cry until her sister pops in to calm her down.
Sore Ike! Anpanman
At the beginning of most episodes starring Kokin-chan, she always crashes into Baikinman's base to visit Dokin-chan, but her way of getting in would cause Dokin-chan to become mad at her, causing her to cry fake tears and flood the base. At the end of an episode, she would go back to Baikin Planet or to Baikin Base together with her sister.
Anpanman and Kokin-chan
Kokin-chan arrives on Earth as an egg like in the movie, but her egg crashes onto Baikinman when he was trying to sneak attack Anpanman for some food he was delivering.
Kokin-chan and the Tearful Christmas
Kokin-chan is the main protagonist of this Christmas special. During Christmas Eve, Kokin-chan causes mischief to the town's children and her older sister. Feeling guilty of this, Kokin-chan's deeds are forgiven by the Heroes and helps Santa Claus to harvest the presents in Christmas Valley. Her fake tears stopped Baikinman's acts with the Crying Dadandan and restored the town from the dark tears caused by Baikinman and Dokin-chan. From this episode onwards, she uses her personal transportation called the Blue Tears made by Baikinman in the same episode.

- In some of the merchandise, Dokeen and Kokinchan seem to get along together.
- Her name in the Chinese dub, 蓝精灵 (Lán jīnglínghttps://youtube.com/shorts/_Y5MMzLu9VM?si=1fteFw4qrMSRZVtS), translates to "blue spirit" or "smurf" (referencing the Belgian series The Smurfs).
- Coreen became part of the anime canon a year later after the 2006 short was released and became a recurring character in the show since then.
- She was ranked 3rd after Anpanman and Baikinman with 1804 votes on a character popularity poll made for the 30th anniversary of the series.
