Ankora (アンコラ) is a character in the Anpanman series.

He loves anko. When he's hungry he goes mad because he wants to eat anko, but really he's a very kind monster. Koankora's dad.
Appearance[]
Ankora is a large pink creature. He has a dog-like head and a quadruple structure, but he also has a spiked dinosaur shaped tail. His head has a lump in the top.
Appearances[]
Ankora made his first appearance in an Anpanman book in the early 1980s. In that book, he is Anpanman's monster target. He first appeared in the anime in episode 8B "Anpanman tokaiju Ankora".
